This year's route is: Centennial (APA), Rocky Mountain Metro (BJC), Front Range (FTG), Fort Collins-Loveland (FNL), and terminus Greeley (GXY).
This event is our primary fundraiser for the scholarship fund, and many volunteers are needed to ensure its success. If you don't plan to participate by flying, please consider helping out on the ground in one of the following ways:
handing out cards at one of the airports tallying final scores at the terminus in Greeley
contributing or securing a prize for the awards ceremony at the terminus
marketing assistance - getting the word out to pilots and local aviation organizations
We always have a great time with this event! Please contact Terry Fiala at [email protected] or 650-307-2304 to contribute your time and expertise.

The solar eclipse was an awesome event. 99s Friend Gere-my Kornreich was in Alliance, NE, and took these photos. Over 200 airplanes flew into that airport alone. If you missed it, the next total eclipse will be in seven years in the Dallas area. Make your hotel reservations now!

Come to Steamboat, CO on September 2 for the Annual Steamboat Wild West Air Fest. The Colorado 99s Chapter will have a "booth" (actually, probably just the wing of an airplane) to display and hand out information about our Chapter and The 99s. Stephanie Wells will be flying her plane there, along with June Stewart, and would love to have company! Here is information about the event.
