Performance Exhaust for New Mk6 Vauxhall Astra VXR
The previous generation Astra Mk5 VXR was a big sales hit for both Vauxhall and UK-based performanceexhaust specialists Milltek Sport whose turbo-back exhaust system, featuring the distinctive rounded/squaretailpipe, was an official dealer-fit option on new cars back in 2005.
The uprated exhaust system from Milltek offered customers a great combination of more power and bettersound but not at the expense of daily driveability...the system remained quiet when cruising and only releasedits vocal talents under full acceleration.
Keen to repeat their past success, Milltek has developed a system for the latest 280PS 2.0i 16v turbo direct-injection engined Mk6 Astra VXR.

The Jaguar XJ (XJ40) saloon was manufacturedby Jaguar Cars between 1986 and 1994 andfeatured the popular Jaguar independent rearsuspension arrangement. Good as thissuspension was, it left room for improvement (Infact Jaguar recognised this and gave the XJ-Rversion uprated suspension with uniquedampers).
GAZ now have some special adjustabledampers for the Jaguar XJ-40 range to upratethe suspension.
GAZ GT Dampers have adjustable dampingrates which can be altered by means of aneasily accessible knob on the side of the units.
GAZ can set the dampers up for general roaduse and they will also be suitable for occasionaltrack slalom and sprint use, or they can even beset up for serious racing use if you wish.

Almost all Mini pumps available today havethe same design capacity, but the problem is the lack of precise manufacturing.Most factories in their quest for production volume have sacrificed precision, but Mini Spareshave now restored that precision with their range of special oil pumps. They are CNCmachined from alloy billets with sintered internals and assembled to very exacting standards.

Titan Motorsports release CNC Ported Heads and valvetrain upgrade for Nissan GT-R VR38 engine
This year’s Autosport International will see the launching of Titan Motorsports’ new CNC Ported CylinderHeads and valve train upgrade for the Nissan GT-R VR38 engine.
Computer aided CNC porting allows exact dimensions to be tested and replicated across all 6 cylinderports, achieving equal airflow for all 6 cylinders. These results cannot be produced or replicated usingtraditional hand cylinder porting, and allow for more exact ECU tuning and additional horsepower as a re-sult of the improved airflow.
The heads have been designed and manufactured as a joint venture between Titan Motorsports andFerrea Racing Components who produce the valvetrain to ensure the valve and spring package wouldoperate harmoniously with the increased airflow provided from the CNC porting.
These improved cylinder heads utilise an upgraded OEM valve size and dual spring combination in con-junction with titanium retainers to maintain the lightest valve train possible without sacrificing durability.Reducing the valvetrain weight allows the engine’s redline to be raised andconsistent and reliable engine revolutions in the 9000+ range to be achieved.
The complete package results in astounding gains in flow rates of 52cfm. on the intake side and 40cfm.on the exhaust side without any sacrifice in reliability or drivability.
