Food

Everyone likes/loves food so I am going to talk about food in the United States. I’ve been to the United States and I have experienced a lot of food such as: hotdogs and hamburgers. Really all the food I see in the United States is fat food or junk food like chips and ice cream. Every morning in Oregon, I ate at this place called, Grumpy’s. It was a breakfast place. And all there was, was scrambled egg’s , oily sausages , and bacon.

Population/People

Here are some cool facts about People. 1 in 8 people have worked at Mcdonald’s. About every hour a person is killed by a drunk driver. The United States population is 332,256,105. Ninety percent of people speak English in the United States. 18 percent of people speak Spanish in the United States.

The Flag

• The United States flag has colors such as blue, red and white. The flag has 50 white stars that represent the 50 states in The United States. The flag also has 13 red lines that represent the 13 leaders in the United States. A lot of houses in the United States has a mini United States flag.

The Holidays

• The United States celebrate a lot of holidays each year I am going to talk about the holidays. First Christmas. Christmas is a holiday for sharing giving and getting not only for presents also for Jesus’s birth. Now Halloween. Halloween is a holiday where u can dress up and go get candy at each house. And if you want you can give candy to those who are trick or treating at your house.

Landmarks

There is a lot of landmarks in the United States and that is what I am going to talk about. There is the Statue of Liberty standing at over 1000 feet. There is Mount Rushmore with the four people George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and two more. There is the Space Needle which is located in Seattle. And the Hollywood sign located in Hollywood.

Houses

• In the United States there are different shapes and sizes and that is what I will be talking about. Believe me there are types of houses that are huge. Some of the houses are mansions. Some cost millions of United States dollars. And I will be showing an expensive house in the United States.

The Capital

• The capital of the United States is Washington D.C. Washington D.C. Today it has an estimated population of 653,744. The D.C. in the word Washington D.C. means the district of Columbia. The city of Washington was founded in 1971 and was the new nation capital.

The national sports

• The united states national sport is baseball. The sport contains a bat a baseball and a hat. They also play basketball. I am very familiar with basketball. I see a lot of Americans when I go to the gym and practice. This sport contains shorts a shirt, proper shoes and of course a basketball.

Language

• The most spoken language in the United States is English. When I went to the United States I heard some people speak Spanish. I only know how to count to five in Spanish. I will try. Uno, dos… I can’t even count to three in Spanish.

Where is it ?

• The United States is a huge country. It is bordered by many things such as the Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, And The Arctic Ocean. It is also bordered by countries like Asia, Russia, Mexico, Canada and a many more countries.
