USER GUIDE EHA25 VIRTUAL CONGRESS PLATFORM
25th EHA Annual Congress: “Unfolding the future!”

Welcome to the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform. This user guide provides you with some instructions and tips to help you start finding your way on the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform and explore its content and functionalities. Use it as a starting kit. The more you visit the platform and simply try all options available, the better you learn and experience the options and the better the platform learns about you and your interests.
The EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform is not just a collection of sessions of the EHA25 congress program delivered to you in a traditional format of a daily program with sessions scheduled at a certain timeslot. Instead, it is an innovative platform which allows you to watch on-demand sessions of your interest at a day and time convenient to you. The platform will be open until October 15, 2020. Until then you can select any session as you would do on platforms such as Netflix. Every time you select a session, the platform will remember this, saves this information and suggests content that also might be of interest to you. This will enhance not only your user experience but also your learning opportunities.
EHA25 VIRTUAL CONGRESS PROGRAM
To support your user experience EHA offers a 10-day program with a selection of live-sessions which you find in our online live program. Just click on one of the days and find the scheduled live sessions which also will be prominently promoted on the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform.
With such a wealth of content, starting as of Monday June 15, Theme Days have been introduced to provide you with an overview of all the on-demand sessions available on the platform and categorized in the following Themes:
— Acute Leukemia (Monday, June 15)— Immunology (Tuesday, June 16)— Red and White Cell Disorders (Wednesday, June 17)— Coagulation Disorders (Thursday, June 18)— Chronic Myeloid Neoplasms (Friday, June 19)— Chronic Lymphoid Neoplasms (Saturday, June 20)— Lymphoma (Sunday, June 21)
On each Theme Day, from 10 to 11 am CEST, we start with a live summary of interesting news within a Theme, prepared by the EHA25 Scientific Program Committee. Also on each Theme Day, live Q&A panel discussions are organized for all sessions within a Theme. Visit the online program and mark them in you calendar.
GETTING YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Asking questions is an important part of any physical congress, but usually also a part for which limited time is available. That’s why EHA paid extra attention to this in the setup of EHA25 Virtual.
Every time you watch one of the on-demand sessions, you are able to a leave question on each of the presentations in the dedicated question box. All your questions will be automatically sent to the chairs and speakers of each session. On the Theme Day, the session chair will discuss selected questions with the respective speakers in the live Q&A panel discussions scheduled for each session. During these live Q&A panel discussions you have the possibility to ask additional questions and follow the discussion from behind your computer.
Finally, for every live session you have the possibility to submit questions during the session. The session chair will select some and will invite presenters to answer them. All live sessions will also be made available in a recorded format. If you submit questions on the recorded versions, these may also be answered by the presenters at a later stage depending on their availability.
Between Friday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 16 you watched 5 sessions from the Theme Coagulation Disorders and posed questions to several presentations.
On the Theme Day Coagulation Disorders, scheduled on Thursday, June 18, you log in to the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform, find the Q&A panel discussion on the sessions for which you left questions in the question box, and participate in the live Q&A panel discussion. During this Q&A panel discussion you have an additional opportunity to ask questions by using the Q&A box on the screen.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER JUNE 21?
Your access to EHA25 Virtual remains valid until October 15, 2020. Until that date you can watch any session as on-demand content and submit your questions in the question box. EHA will regularly remind presenters to check their question box and answer questions.
After June 21, EHA will regularly upload new content and organize special days for which you will be notified.
After you’ve registered, a virtual host will welcome you to set up your profile. Simply answer the questions and you will arrive on the EHA25 Virtual Dashboard.

As a first step to access the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform you are requested to register and create your profile.
To register you need to have your personal access code sent to you by [email protected] you can’t retrieve your access code, please send an email to [email protected]

EHA25 VIRTUAL DASHBOARD; what is it?
Your EHA25 Virtual Dashboard provides you with a full overview of all sessions available in the EHA25 Virtual Congress program and categorized in different trays. Below you find a short explanation of each tray:

HIGHLIGHTED SESSIONS To promote the live sessions per day
FEATURED CONTENT To promote the live sessions per day
SPECIAL SESSIONS Here you find e.g. the opening ceremony, the award sessions and other specials
SATELLITES & U-i-H All Satellites and Updates-in Hematology sessions are brought together in this tray
E-POSTERSAll E-posters are categorized in virtual poster halls based on topic, and categorized in basic/translational and clinical
BOOKMARKS Every time you mark a session of your interest, it will appear in the Bookmark tray.
COMPLETEDEvery time you mark a session as completed, it will be moved to Your History on the top bar of your dashboard.
RECOMMENDATIONSBased on your profile, sessions you view and your bookmarks, the platform will recommend certain content that matches your interest.

All sessions are tagged to a Theme. Some sessions include presentations related to multiple themes and therefore also appear in multiple themes.

HOW TO ACCESS A SESSION ON YOUR DASHBOARD?
On each session page you find RECOMMENDATIONS the platform proposes to you based on your profile and sessions you watched.
Wherever you are in the EHA25 Virtual Congress Platform, you can always use <- or the DASHBOARD button to return to your dashboard.
On the session details page you find the:
Session title Name of the Chair(s)
Presentation titles Name of the Speakers

All sessions are behind a tile. Simply click on a tile and arrive on the page with the session details.

Simply click on the launch button or the image and you will access the session.
HOW TO FIND CONTENT?
There are two ways to find content; by FILTERING and by using the SEARCH function.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
The EHA25 Virtual Congress platform contains many more functionalities and you are invited to explore them.
For example you can:
— use the PROGRAM, ABSTRACTS and PUBLICATIONS buttons in the top bar of your dashboard
— visit the virtual exhibit from by clicking on the ENTER HERE button on your dashboard or on a session page
FILTERS
You can filter on session type, content suppliers and the tags:
— Biology — Clinical research — Translational research — Clinical practice
If you switch on one or more filters, your EHA25 Virtual dashboard will change and only show content related to the filter(s) you switched on.
Switching off filters is easy. Click again on the Filter button on your dashboard, click on the filters you’ve switched on to switch them off and click on APPLY.
SEARCH
By clicking on search, the search bar just below the EHA logo opens and SEARCH ASSETS appears.
Type in the bar what you are looking for and the results will appear. Browse through the list while using your mouse or ‘arrow down’ button. Once you found what you are looking for click on ‘enter’.
