Scenario I: There is the need to send a text message in chinese language, but the mobile phone it is already setted in english language. How the user will deal with this considering their mother tongue it is not chinese? Hypothesis:

Scenario II: There is the urgency to open a closed door in an obscure corridor. The mobile phone has a flashlight as a feature, the user needs to turn it on. Will the user be able to complete the task quickly? Hypothesis:

User A:Yes, but if she does not know chinese good enough, may ask for some-body else’s assistance, due to her skill of “collective“ sense.

User B:Yes, she’ll do it without any mistake, because she analize details to get to logical conclusions.

User C:If he does not know enough chinese may not be able to find the way back after setting the device to chinese, due to his weakness of notbeing able to complete tasks.

User D:Yes, he’ll do it and very quickly, because he is flexible and he will try to adopt himself tho the chinese interface with the visual aids of icons.

User A:No, she will take time to succed. Due to her difficult to take decisions quickly, she will take longer in every step to reach the task.

Homework 02: User Research

User B:Yes, but because she is rational she will think it takes too much steps, therefore, too much time for a task that requires speed in its application in real life, in emergencies, for instance.

User C:Yes, even when steps are too many, he will do it wothout noticing the lenght of the path of actions, because he is optimistic.

User D:Yes, he’ll do it because is high determined, but he may be irritated in the end because it takes long to achieve this simple task.

Scenario III: There is the wish to play a game to kill time. Will the user be satisfied with the games the mobile phone provides? Hypothesis:

User A:She will play at least for a while because she is moderated, and perhaps will play just “Snake Xenzia“, “Soccer“ it is for boys, and “Sudoku“ it is too rational for her personality.

User B:She’ll be happy to relax playing “Sudoku“, because she has an analitic personality, and rational games represents fun for her.

User C:He will play for a while, but due to his tendency to not complete tasks, he may last not too much time playing, he will drop it soon.

User D:Perhaps for a moment because he is adaptable, but he will be bored soon due to adventurous spirit, he will be expecting something with more action in order to have fun.
