Solution

• Through a web-based/App-based interface, user initially registers, creates a profile with his/her address, alternate address, contact number and other details.

• During emergencies, the user gives a missed call or (if time permits) sends an SMS with details on item and quantity required to a NDMA helpline number. Based on the address stored in NDMA’s servers, it alerts users.

• Users wanting to help out get an SMS/IVR call when someone in their vicinity seeks help stating the name, address and contact details. They send a reply back with their acceptance. They can forward this as a SMS and share it further.

• Awareness videos through VR device• Work with manufacturers and NDMA on making

this a default app for all mobile phones purchased in India
