De-installation of V4 Pasolink:

1.  Identification of V4 IDU & V4 ODU to be replaced

2.  Give a CALL from V4 IDU NEAR End & confirm Beep sound

at FAR End

3.  Switch OFF IDU at NEAR End & confirm traffick is down/

NO RSL at FAR End4.  Identify DCDB & switch off Power to IDU from DCDB

5.  After confirmation of traffic down remove V4 IDU by

removing Ground Cable & Power Cable/Molex Connector

6.  Cut Molex Connector check Voltage & identify -48V & 0

7.  Remove N - type IF Connector at IDU end.

8.  Remove Grounding cable & IF Cable at V4 ODU

9.  Remove V4 ODU

Reinstallation of iPasolink:

1.  iPASO Power Connector is available in IDU Box in plastic pack & same is

to be used for iPASO Power after connctorisation V cables label same

2.  Recheck Voltage at iPASO Power Connector & confirm -48V & 0 V. Insert

Power Connector in iPASO IDU as per Voltage Marking

3.  Replace IF Connector at IDU end from N-type to TNC Connector4.  Replace V4 ODU to I-Paso IHG ODU

5.  Connect Grounding cable & IF Cable for iPASO ODU

6.  Install MDR ( Y Cable) to iPASO IDU & connect D-Sub end to D-Sub 37

PIN Connector of PCM E1 cable

7.  Interconnect E1 Cable from I-Paso IDU & from Existing DDF Port

8.  Any blank MDR Cable end / D-Sub Cable end to be tied to Rack after

wrapping with (Bubble) Plastic Sheet

9.  Installation & Termination of Grounding cable for IDU. Confirm the

Installation Done & "Switch ON" the IDU
