Vancouver:

Steve Kwak, BS

Hi, I am a Whole Health Coach at a VA Primary Care Clinic at the Van-couver Campus supporting veterans and staff members in the outpatient clinic. I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and still serve as a reservist in the Air Force as Religious Affairs Airman. Recently, I returned from a mili-tary deployment after serving six months in the Mediterranean dessert.

My previous job titles include, mental health technician in military and in the VA Health Care System for the last five years where I gained an invaluable experience working with mental health team and support staff in serving to protect and look after well-being of veterans who are as-signed in an in-patient psychiatric unit.

I have Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State Univer-sity. My focus and interest as I get to work with veterans is helping them to make a difference by empowering each veteran in making healthy choices.

Currently, I am a graduate student at a local seminary in Portland, Ore-gon pursuing a degree in MDiv. I am a husband to a wonderful wife, a father to both teenaged daughter and son who are in high school in Van-couver, WA. Besides my reservist duty, our family enjoys dining out for authentic cuisine, Korean food and spending quality time together. I enjoy the outdoors by running, hiking, swimming, playing tennis and SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Boarding accompanied with a good friend.
