KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: • Grade 12 with at least 5 years applicable experience in a purchasing function in a manufacturing environment. • Professional qualification in Procurement/Supply would be advantageous. • Basic knowledge of Code of Conduct and Financial Regulations. • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Planning, organizing and team working skills • High standard of accuracy and commercial awareness. Ability to process very high volume within tight deadlines. • Ability to analyze and evaluate data to make recommendations and business decisions. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Product sourcing and negotiations. • Coordinate related purchasing functions with plantation and operational staff. • Manage consumable stores. • Assist in maintaining the Company’s BBBEE information. • Ensure procedures and systems are maintained for the effective functioning of the purchasing process, consumable store and administrative functions. Accurate and timeous processing of purchase transactions on NAV. This appointment will be made strictly in accordance with the Company’s Employment Equity Plan.
