~ County ArAd ~We have much to praise God for when we think of Good News across Romania – Arad 2013.

praise Him together with us for:

~ 9.000 Gospel booklets distributed;

106 Locations where children heard the Gospel;

~ 4.250 Children who heard the Good News of the Gospel;

65 Local churches who joined with CEF for this project;

300 Volunteers and CEF workers who had the joy of serving God together.

It seems that we could have written a book every evening as we heard testimonies, received photographs and had many, many reasons to give thanks to God.

We have chosen a few – so that you can rejoice with us dear prayer partner and supporter in the ministry.

May you be encouraged as we were that God is working and building His Kingdom.

ARAD REpoRt tEstiMoNiEs fRoM tHE cLuBs:

In a club, a father who had attended with his child, needed to miss a day because he is a truck driver. He asked his wife to attend the club and record it all, so that he wouldn’t miss anything.

In one of the clubs, a few children left the club to play football. The mother of one of the children called him back to listen to what was being taught.

A little girl trusted the Lord. When she went home, she found her dad wanting to take his life because he had no job. The little girl realised that her father does not have God in his life and that’s why he wanted to do this. The girl went and prayed and asked for forgiveness from God. She then went to her father and said, “I prayed and tomorrow you will have a place to work.” Later a man came and offered a job for her father. The little girl was very encouraged and told her father that he too needed to trust the Lord.

We rejoiced that God brought forth fruit from the seed sown in the hearts of children. A little girl received the Lord saying that she wanted to repent just as her father had done. (He had been a Christian and had died recently.)

Biano received Jesus into his heart and said he wants to change his behaviour. He wants those around him to see that he has changed. Other children could see the change! He even came and said to us, “Please forgive me for my bad language when we first met.”

“… the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18).

Andrei said, “I received the Lord Jesus in my heart some time ago and I told my Mum to also turn from her sin. This morning I woke up at 3 and read my Bible and the Meet the King booklet and I prayed.”

Churches to continue the ministry started this week. A volunteer teacher said, “This is a very beneficial ministry. I want to continue with Good News Club and the children would like to start attending church.”

roxana (child at club) prayed, “Lord, thank you for bringing these girls to us to teach us these verses!”

“When I heard that CEF had come to my town, I had to come and meet you. I did the Bible Correspondence Course with CEF many years ago, and I would like my son to attend this club!” Mother who attended one of the clubs.
