Family Movie Night November 16th

Our next Movie Night will be November 16 th, in the FPC parking lot. We will be showing “The Peanuts Movie” on the big screen. Just as before, we will offer free popcorn and hot dogs. Please mark your calendars now. We hope to see you there!

Day Trip to Lanier Theological Library November 15th

FPC members will travel via FPC van and private car (as needed) to Northwest Houston to tour the renowned Lanier Theological Li-brary, followed by lunch at the equally renowned family-owned Rib Tickler Restaurant.

A no-charge guided tour provides details about the architecture, aesthetics and resources of the 17,000 square foot library and a stone chapel. Artifacts in the library include: an original Dead Sea Scroll fragment display, a Qumran Scroll jar, two stone tablets, two early King James Bibles and a C.S. Lewis collection.

After the tour, will journey over to The Rib Tickler Restaurant for a relaxing lunch. The menu includes salads and a variety of wood-smoked BBQ items. All the sides are “made from scratch” creating a farm-to-fork experience.

Make your reservation with Donna Stewart (210) 343-9905 or

Shirley Dukes (936) 760-8655. We will meet at the church at 9:00-

9:15 a.m. Travel refreshments will be provided! The cost of the tour

is $10.00 and any lunch expense is each individual’s responsibility.

Operation Christmas Child

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and

PDS are teaming with Samaritan’s Purse

to send shoeboxes, filled with fun items,

to children around the world. Pick up an

Operation Christmas Child box in the

Narthex, along with a packing list, and

help spread love and the gospel around

the world. See Dena Sowden for details.
