SO, HOW DOES VIDEOIQ DO IT?VideoIQ is a major breakthrough in security it uses video, but ‐ unlike ccTV it does not simply record video but rather detects and instantly alerts you to threats as a real guard would. It is designed for in– or outdoor security, especially for perimeters, estates, office parks, remote sites, buildings and infrastructure like factories & harbours. It is an ideal solution for Africa because: ● It does not require any bandwidth to work● It only detects human presence, so dramatically less false alarms● Requires no DVR’s NVR’s or expensive networks as each unit works completely independently ● It actually guards for you and alerts you to threats instantly ● It simple to use and easy to install and requires no special training ● It allows you to do access control and control other devices remotely ● It helps in predicting crime before it happens ● Requires no software costs or licenses and can be monitored from any PC or browser
HOW IT WORKS VideoIQ specifically detects humans and/or vehicles amongst everything else, day or night. This means that you are not receiving false alarms all the time. It does this through a very complex set of algorithms that run inside the camera system working directly on the camera. It is the first high spec intelligent security camera system in a box with built in analytics and DVR. This means that the camera ‘watches’ and responds the way you want it to, only when you want it to, so it easy to have many cameras on a basic network. The built in intelligence handles the rest and alerts you anywhere with a small video file showing the live ‘event ’ and all of the relevant information real time.
