When an i-NETSTREAM camera or server with ERS is installed it acts as a remote server or DVR. It does not need to be installed on a network; it can record independently.

With ERS there is no need to cable back to the head-end for sensitive and special monitoring needs. Data can be stored and secured separately, without worrying about head-end tampering. ERS allows for an expedited playback process rather than sorting through multiple DVR fi les, eliminating the complication and cost of a DVR and associated labor altogether.

SD cards in other cameras record only short video clips in response to motion triggers and cannot record with accuracy over older fi les. Utilizing proprietary technology Videology’s ERS, still based on FAT 12/FAT 16/FAT 32 protocols at the lowest I/O levels, overcomes this limi-tation by creating large, contiguous fi les of the maximum permissible size, assuring that no data is lost when recording over older fi les.

The MJPEG fi les may be played back with any standard player using Videology’s ERS utility SD card. SDHC Class 6 SD cards or higher are required.

Videology’s i-NETSTREAM IP camera model 20N758 and server 60SV12VA-B comes loaded with Extended-Recording System (ERS) fi rmware at no extra charge. The competitively priced products are cost-effective components of a larger network surveillance system, allowing for maximum fl exibility.

60P2424-1/60P2409 FeaturesThe 60P2409 camera power supply provides a unique series of features which allow easier installation, greater reliability and unequalled fl exibility— all for a very economical price. It is ideal in any multi-camera installation, avoiding the need to tie up one electrical outlet per camera, and providing signifi cant advantages over multiple plug-in transformers in safety, convenience, neatness and cost.

Power is provided by a UL Class II transformer, which is connected to a distribu-tion board, providing screw terminal connections for the specifi ed number of cam-eras. Input power is 120V AC. 220V models are available upon request.

Each output is protected by a (self-resetting SmartFuse). This reacts like a glass fuse but resets itself when the surge has passed or the fault is removed, eliminating costly service calls to replace blown fuses.
