University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union RAG Charity Application Form RAG stands for ‘Raise and Give’ and is an integral part of the Students’ Union at the University of Gloucestershire. RAG raises funds through voluntary donations which are distributed on an annual basis to our selected nominated charities. This is carried out by a group of dedicated students led by an elected officer and supported by the RAG Committee. RAG holds a range of events on and off campus, with plenty of opportunities for charities to get involved. We will aim to have a few nominated main charities each year, so that our students can really get to know the nominated charities and understand how the money they raise can really make a difference. We also occasionally hold one-off fundraisers for charities. Charities who wish to become a RAG-nominated charity are encouraged to submit the form below. Applications are shortlisted by the elected officer and the RAG committee. We then put the shortlisted charities to a vote on our website so that our student body can choose who they want the Students’ Union to support. Currently the only criteria are that you must be a registered charity and that you must be locally based. Please note that if your charity is affiliated to a particular political party or religious organisation, this does not prevent you from being shortlisted but this factor will be taken into consideration. RAG and The Students’ Union have no political or religious affiliation.

University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union RAG Charity Application Form

RAG stands for ‘Raise and Give’ and is an integral part of the Students’ Union at the University of Gloucestershire.
