MP Ski Whi~ Snowmobiles are rugged, versat11e ma­chines. designed for winter work or play. They will op­erate ef!lclcntly to beavy or llgbt snow, on level or hilly <erraln and are ""cepoonally stable under widely vary­ing eonditlons.

The Ski Wbtz is equipped with adjustable throttle and brake control levers, Ptg. 8 . To change tbe posi­tion of the levers , loosen tbe socket head scuw:rews m the lever plvoc blocks . The levers may be moved In or out or turned to meet indtvuluaJ requirements. Cue should be ta !<en to make sure tbe cable$ are no< twi steel enough to cause tbe coocrols to bind.

LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

LUBRICATI O N

The Ski Whiz was designed for minimum mainte­nance, however, lubrication is occasionally required. Lubricate at the following locations and at the intervals stated. See Diagram, Fig. 9.

Take care to keep oils and greases from belts and track. Always wipe off oils or grease if accidentally spilled. Do not over lubricate at any point.

Wear Plates (No. 1) - Every 30 hours operation. Grease liberally with general pu.rpose, lithium base grease.

Sp.ring Pivots (No. 2) - Every 30 hours operation. Oil with SAE 5W-20 or lOW-30 motor oil.

Steering Shaft - Bottom (No. 4) - When needed. OiJ occasionally with sAE 5w -20 or lOW - 30 motor oil.

Sprin~Spacers (No. 5) - Every 30 hours. Oil liber­ally with AE 5 W -20 or lOW -30 motor oil .

Brake Pivot Points (No. 6)- When needed. Grease with generBJ purpose, lithium base grease.

Steering Shaft - Top (No. 7) - When needed. Oil liberally with SAE 5W-20 or lOW-30 motor oil .

Chain Case (No. 8) - Cbange oil after first 15 hours operation -- iliereatter add oil when needed.

Keep chain covered at bottom of case with approx­imately 1'' SAE 80 transmission oil. When changing after break- In, 4-l/2 ozs. will fill case to proper level.

Carbureto r Ad justment

IMPORTANT': Do nat rurn adjusting screws ln tight 1111 seats may become damAged.

2. Block up IJle rear or the Ski Wlllz so IJlat the track Is free or the ground. Start engine <Lnd allow to run at Id le speed until normal operating temperatures ore reached . Never race a cold engine.

6. Adjust high speed screw to provide best per­formance for cllmnllc conditions and type or operation dasired.
