    Co-coordinated SIA of the project affected villages through independent consultancy firm i.e

    XISS, Ranchi. Undertaking a detailed needs analysis and assessment in consultation with then affected

    households through PRA exercise & other modes so as to map their existing skills as well asidentify alternative livelihood preferences and options.

    Obtaining individual options for Rehab house or lump sum amount (as per Jharkhand R & RPolicy) of each would be displaced villagers.

    door census survey of all project affected households using a structured interviewschedule and PRA exercise (Social Mapping).

    o A detailed Socio Economic Study of Project Affected Families (households) who are

    termed as PAF. A rehabilitation Action Plan also needs to be prepared as per JharkhandR&R policy 2008.

    o A comprehensive 05 years community development plan based on sustainable

    development for the displaced families & project affected villages under cooperatesocial responsibility

    Carried out a social impact assessment in the Performa duly approved by the concernedDistrict Collectors in pursuance to JRRP-2008 issued by Government of Jharkhand.

    Obtained the details of the entire infrastructure including all common property resources inthe project influence areas.
