Elle Fashion Week Spring/Summer

2013 Dates Announced


To be held over four days, from March 13 16,this year�s Elle Spring/Summer Fashion Weekwill be presented under the banner �Bangkok isYour Runway�.

Three different inner city locations have beennominated: Scala Theatre at Siam Square,Lumpini Hall at Lumpini Park and W Bangkok.

10 top Thai designers have signed up to showtheir latest ranges. On display will be: Asava,Curated by Ek Thongprasert, Greyhound,

Issue, Kloset, Munchu�s, Senada, Something Boudoir,Tu�i and Vivkteerut.

The organisers held a press conference to give detailsof the event at TCDC at The Emporium. Designerswere on hand to preview their collections, each bringingalong a model.

One outfit from each of the 10 fashion houses was givena brief preview.

A Journey Through Thailandwith Chef McDang

Chef McDang, Thailand�s well known celebrity chef, is

planning a menu that will take diners all around the country.

His �Journey Through Thailand with Chef McDang� dining

experience is planned for March 21st until 24th, for both

lunch and dinner, at the upscale fine dining outlet VIU at

the St. Regis Bangkok.

The menu will showcase the various flavours of the kingdom,

taking in the diverse tastes of the north, Isaan, central

Thailand and the south, with a new menu being

introduced each day.

Chef McDang�s modern Thai creations for the event

include white turmeric salad, braised pork belly with

quail egg, larb duck burger served with coleslaw,

papaya salad dressing and french fries, and panfried

marinated snapper with galangal mushrooms dressed

with coconut cream sauce and sided with black rice,
