The executive chefs of 25 leading hotels inThailand, and Thai Airways International,are joining forces for this year�s prestigiousChefs Charity Fundraising Gala Dinner.

Most of the participants met up at theMandarin Oriental Hotel on May 2nd to takepart in a press conference to explain the aimsof this year�s fifth edition fundraiser.

This annual culinary charity extravaganzainvolving a total of 26 Executive Chefs willonce again raise funds for the Border PatrolPolice schools under the Patronage ofHRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn as wellas underprivileged children in NorthernThailand.

Confirmed to take place on 17th July 2013 inthe gracious presence of HRH Princess MahaChakri Sirindhorn in the Royal Ballroom,Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, the charity eventwill feature a nine course menu, with chefsteaming up to prepare specific courses.

This year the wine pairings will be entrusted toSiam Winery who will exclusively providea large selection of wines and champagneimported from around the world includingFrance, New Zealand, Austria and Chile.

In addition, their popular Monsoon Valleywines from the Winery�s own Hua Hin HillsVineyard will be made available.

A group of five jewellers have joined forces in an exhibitiondescribed as �an intensive and compact connection full oftension�.

The five began working together around 18 months ago,searching for alternative ways to display their contemporaryjewellery.

All hail from northern Europe, with Deborah Rudolph andFrancisca Bauza representing Germany, Mata Mattsson andLisa Bjorke hailing from Sweden, while Nina Sajet originates

from Holland. Their exhibition can be found at ATTA Galleryin the OP Garden in Soi Charoenkrung 36 until June 2nd.

Atty Tantivit, who runs ATTA Gallery, describes the works as�little fragments, links and colours which are connected to eachother points towards one direction. Their reason is not alwaysvisible at first sight, but by using them and by taking a deeper lookunder their surfaces, they open up another world�a world full ofnew information that connects people together.
