1. When two system share the site location, it is easy to achieve the isolation at 40~50dB between the antennas of two systems;

2. When the antennas for two systems distribute in the different location, duo to the environmental complexity, it is very difficult to identify the exact isolation between two antennas. The strategy to setup 1800M Network based on cluster size:

The number of sites will depend of cluster region but we can consider to dimensioning the teams between 20 or 30 sites by cluste( in the same night)

BCCH list / Frequency / Cell ID planning:

For 1800 Mhz will have a new frequency plan considering the Máx capacity (S666) using U-net tool because no 1800Mhz measurement reports yet,for Cell ID use the same from 1900 to RJ, South region ( _4, _5, _6) in NE region still the same in 1900Mhz( _1,_2,_3) and new to 1800 Mhz ( _4, _5, _6).

The HO between 1800 Mhz and 1900 Mhz is not possible than during the swap project areas with overlap will have a bad impact in HO and Drop Call performance.

The new BSC software version doesn’t support concentric cell, is necessary to have independent BCCH for each band, this action will increase the congestion KPI due the capacity reduction.

ES region is the highest risk area because the number of sites using the concentric cells, after BCCH separation the capacity will be reduced and the congestion will increase causing a bad impact in other KPIs(Drop / HO / Efficiency / etc...).

We should define the accurate schedule for changing from co-BCCH to concentric cell according to L1 plan.

RRU Expansion Step Overview The following slides uniform all RRUs expansion scenarios including

GSM850/1800/1900 & UMTS850/2100 except GSM900 in VIVO GU project. (Because GSM900 is independent site in our solution)

Basic Principle:

1) In 5 states, new RRU should be powered by APM30/APM30H at first (6~8RRUs in maximum), then by restructured BTS3012AE (6RRUs in maximum) .

Outdoor

• Case 1: Original situation is BTS3012AE + APM30 (old APM30).

• Case2: Original situation is BTS3012AE.

• Case3: Original situation is no any equipment. Indoor

• Case4: Original situation is 19’ rack.

• 2) In NE, RRU3908/RRU3008 should be powered by APM30/APM30H, and only 3RRU3801C or RRU3804 or RRU3806 (2100M) can be powered by BTS3012AE (no restructure).

Notes: MRFU implement does not impact RRU expansion step, so it isn’t mentioned here.
