VentureLeague of the Americas is an Innovation Network that aims to strengthen the regional ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation by facilitating connection, collaboration and growth among high-impact entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, mentors, corporations, universities, government entities and other stakeholders. With our high-impact mentor + investor network we nurture high-growth early stage start-ups to growth-stage businesses and give them better access to money, markets, mentors and media to scale up faster, therefore creating significant economic impact in the region

through innovation and job creation.

Members of VentureLeague view entrepreneurship as a catalyst for more progress, prosperity and peace. We are big thinkers and resourceful doers with a “pay it forward” mentality who practice

and prize:

collaboration + synergyexcellence + quality

responsiveness + actionpersonal + professional growth

innovation + impacttrust + integrity

VentureLeague’s founding team leverages extensive experience in designing and implementing high impact programs such as the creation of iNNpulsa Colombia for President Santos, leading missions such as the US State Department & Aspen Institute Investor mission to Colombia, Gov. Patrick’s innovation mission for the Massachusetts-Colombia Alliance and the high-impact bootcamp for Colombians at Masschallenge/MIT in Boston. Furthermore we are pleased to leverage our team’s personal long-term experience as serial entrepreneurs, angel investors and experience as former international executives at HP, Siemens, Cisneros Group and the Gates Foundation that know both the Latin American as well as the US innovation eco-systems in Miami, Boston and Silicon Valley very well. Their vast network, experience & expertise resulted in the creation of VentureLeague’s regional innovation network of investors, high-impact entrepreneurs and ivy-league mentors (Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Yale, Duke, Chicago, Stanford, Babson) to give the growing innovation community better access to markets, money and mentor capital by offering programs and events to facilitate connection, collaboration and growth in the Americas. Furthermore VentureLeague’s partner network of over 80 allies such as the Inter-American Development Bank, MasterCard, Discovery Channel, Bavaria, Fundacion Mario Santo Domingo, Fundacion Davivienda Bolivar and government programs such as Start up Spain/Chile/Peru/Brazil and accelerators, VC funds and angel investor networks around the region give VentureLeague a global reach. The network is furthermore one of the founding members of an intrapreneurial movement spearheaded by the IDB/FOMIN, BMW Foundation, Clinton & Gates Foundation, Oxford University and Ashoka that aims to accelerate innovation through intrapreneur labs, corporate venture funds and intrapreneur peer-to peer mentoring inside big organizations while integrating them into our larger innovation network.
