Vocal Audition Requirements

2017-2018

All students auditioning for vocals for the RYJO will be asked to sing the items listed below:

1. Chromatic Scale – Ascending and Descending – one octave

2. One Major scale – one octave

3. Vocalists – sing a prepared piece of your choosing (should be a Jazz Style selection – 90 seconds in length) Acapella preferred.

4. Star Spangled Banner – without accompaniment
