Hi all.  Well, once again we’re looking forward to the end of winter.  I should say rather that at

least most of us are.  We’ve been lucky this year as I see it, with comparably less snow then we’re

used to.  I hope that this trend continues as I’m getting antsy about getting the old Mopar out.

All of us are really looking forward to the warmer weather so, looking down the road, the first

event in line this year is The Gathering of The Clubs which is coming up very soon down in Sturbridge Mass.  This year

the date is the February 23rd and will be held, once again, at The Sturbridge Hotel.  Some of us went down last year

and were surprised at the how diverse the makeup of the various clubs was as well as where the clubs hailed from.  I

was amazed when I found that one of the clubs came down from Canada but then found that still another came over

from Ireland!

Next month we at Mid‐State are planning one of our dust‐off events, getting together for breakfast at The Carriage

House in Winchendon Mass. on the 24th at 11.00.  Once again this year Joe Gonynor put this event together and has a

list of all those who have stated their intent to attend.  If your currently not on the list and would like to please see or

call Joe and I’m sure that he’ll be happy to accommodate you.

This being our 40th anniversary year we're looking to add something special to several of our events which include,

but aren’t limited to, our spectacular Father’s Day Meet on the 16th of June and at our annual Mid‐State outing to be

held on July 27th up in Rindge N.H.  I guarantee that you can count on more information on these and other events as

the calendar and our planning progress.

Dave Cramm, President - MSAAC

MSAAC – SecretaryMinutes Feb 11, 2019 ‐ Cont'd...

Harold Rehrauer accepts the Coveted White hat and Color Picture of his recent PIX of the Month from Pres Dave. Anyone who has not experienced the Thrill of having their car as PIX of the Month… talk to TOM or DAVE soon …!!!

BTW – We’re still looking for a new M.A.A.C. Rep to replace the great job Harold was doing . Talk to him or any officer if interested.

1979 to 2019 ... Our 40th Year...!!! Page 3 God Bless America

2019 - Mid-State Antique Auto Club's 40th year - Forty years of lots of club events and activities, including 40 years of Mid-State Club Newsletters…!!! Granted, November is still a couple months away to be ‘exactly’ 40 years… but close enuf to take a look at the very first Vol 1. Number 1 of Mid-State Antique Auto Club’s News:

…and the message remains the same …!!!“…to provide members with enjoyable club activities through out the year…”

NEWSLETTER CHANGES ARE IN THE WORKS - In the coming months our club newsletter will be using the header that you see on this issue, “Mid-State Club News” as we begin a new era of newsletters. Your Board of Directors recently voted to change the formats of the monthly newsletter such that there will be – Four (4) Full-size Newsletters (Quarterly), similar to last month's issue, with a PIX of the Month or other picture-type front page info and the other issues (~6) will be the Shorter, Smaller Versions aka Mini-News Letters similar to this month's format.

Dave Cramm has stepped up to assist Editor Tom for the remainder of 2019 and will take over the Editor role beginning with the 2020 Mid-State Newsletters. As always, he will welcome any and all input, including photos and short write-ups for events that we, as a club, attend.

Dave will join a fine line of Editors, including Paul Giordano – 1979 & early days; Mo Tremblay for many, many years; Rich Holt Asst. Editor during the 1990’s and Tom (Yours Truly) Yoder as Co-Editor 1999-2007 and Editor 2007 to present.

Since 1979, our Club newsletter has only had two major changes to its header page. In Feb 1999, “Celebrating 20 Years” was added to a more stylized header.

And … In September 2001, the MSAAC Newsletter Header was again revised; the US Flag was added to the Footer ‐ Showing our support for the 9/11 tragedy that had just taken place, the week before.
