Rabbi’s Message Tany The storm hit on that day when you left us sending up a sea of waves that still overtake me suddenly when I lie down and when I rise up and when I go on the way salty waves of pain that cloud my eyes and then I see your face like when we said goodbye serene framed by sandy pine wood and a pure white foamlike shroud and your dreamy eyes like an angel trying to help us see a break in the clouds a ray of light ahead Uncle Claudio

Thank you to all my good friends who made contributions to Temple Beth El in honor of Noah’s graduation from James Madison High School. My grandson, Noah, has made me very proud and this is just a stepping stone on his way up the ladder. His next successful step was his acceptance to Full Sail University of Florida in their computer program. Norma Gingold
We would like to thank our Temple family for the many contributions upon Noah’s graduation from James Madison High School. The Hebrew School year came to an end on June 10 as the students eagerly awaited the summer hiatus.
The parents joined their children in the Beis Hamidrash as Rabbi Kupchik
led everyone in the morning minyan. The end of term ceremony followed in the library where special awards
were given acknowledging outstanding performances by Ronald Ditchek, Sam Kheysin, Ryan Eberman, and Kenny Levy.
Teachers Raziel Moussafi and Elaine Zimmerman took part in distributing
the certificates. Mr. Moussafi, who taught the upper class will be leaving Temple Beth El after 4 years to follow a different path. We are all sorry to see him leave.
The proceedings came to an end with the serving of refreshments to amidst lots of hugs and picture taking. We look forward to a healthy, happy summer and a resumption of our school year in September. Notices will be sent out announcing registration and the first day of school for the 2012- 2013 year. Bob Levine School Liaison
Rabbi Claudio J. Kupchik, Elaine Zimmerman, Bob Levine, Raziel Moussafi, Ronald Ditchek, Sam Kheysin, Ryan Eberman, Kenny Levy
This is the time of the year when schools and organizations have their end of year celebration.
And so it was with Temple Beth El on May 30th, 2012. At this congregational supperette,
Chairperson Lenny Finkel and President Dr. Miles Kahan welcomed all the Temple members who
came. Rabbi Kupchik delivered his message prior to our eating supper.
Lenny Finkel called upon the chair persons of the Temple’s various committees for their annual
reports. Bob Levine wore two hats that night. In the absence of Bill Katz, Bob reported our financial
status which was provided by Bill. As School Liaison, Bob announced that our religious school is
desperately in need of students. Dolores Measer’s
membership report was equally weak on growth. Muriel
Ellenberg, Sisterhood President, presented its annual
contribution to Temple’s coffers. Harvey Lerner appealed
to all Temple members, present and absent for their
attendance at services, involvements in activities provided
by the different arms of Temple and providing public
relations input welcoming new members into this
community.
Muriel Ellenberg was called upon to present a
plaque to Maureen Lerner for her many years of dedicated contribution to Temple Beth El.
The legal part of the evening was professionally handled by Judge Allan Marrus. After calling
for additional recommendations to the Board, he officially discharged the current board which was then
sworn in.
The dessert which followed ended the congregational meeting of 2012.
