Last Sunday Central UMW, Circle 8, awarded the 2019 Special Recognition Pin for services to our church and community to Mrs. Bonnie Lyon. Please thank her for her dedication.

The United Methodist Women (UMW) is the only organization of women within the United Methodist Church (UMC). Founded in 1869, it is “the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately

800,000 members”. The UMW offers all Methodist women opportunities for

spiritual growth, leadership development, transformative education and service and advocacy.

CHRISTMAS is coming soon. Once again, the Youth will sponsor the SAN-TA SHOP for the children to purchase donated items for Christmas gifts for their loved ones. If you have any items that you would like to donate, please drop them off in the church office or give them to a member of the Youth group. We appreciate your support!!!

NOVEMBER CHILDREN’S EVENT

The children’s department will be collecting supplies to pack boxes for soldiers. We will be accepting non-perishable items like individually wrapped crackers, candy, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pens, cards, magazines, etc. We will also accept monetary donations to help with postage. The collection boxes will be located in Henry Hall and the back of the church. Boxes will be packed on Wednesday, November 13th.
