Elbul'n," 1 blue serge sac suit, 1 grey check sac suit, 1 black twill dress suit, with satin collar, makers I( Byham and Howden, Collins Street, ]\I[elbourne," a case of 4 razors, with black handles, 1 pearl pin, 1 turquoise pin, and a silver cigar case, engraved with the mono­gram " G.E.E.," the property of G. Miscellaneous. Mon"t Gon/d.-On the 29th Scptem bel' last, the

skeletons of a man and dog were found about three miles south of Clifton Downs homestead. The human remains are described as those of an old European male of tall sta.ture, feet deformed from use of tight boots. and bands those of a man unaccustomed to bard work; teeth drawn. The dog was probably a young cross-bred animal, with light coloured smooth coat, and uf medium size. The body of the man was lying on the left side and bore the remnants of a cotton shirt, moleskin trousers, and blucher boots, the latter being little worn, right boot being cut away at heel, eviclently 011 account of sore. These remains appeared to have been on the spot a.bol1t 8 or 10 months. There is no suspicion of foul play. It is surmised that the human remains C1l'e those of James Kel'win, lately working as cook at shearing time at Anneall and other stations.
