DAY 1: Johannesburg / Dar es Salaam Airport / Selous Game Reserve Intercamp Flight

Meet and greet by a representative of eXplore Plus Travel & Tours at OR Tambo Airport at the Kenya Airways check-in counter 3 hours before the scheduled departure time (clients from Cape Town will be met on arrival in Tanzania). The package includes return economy airfare with Kenya Airways (via Nairobi) from Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam Airport (departing at 01h55, arriving at 09h55). You will, therefore, touch down in Nairobi and board another flight to your final destination. At Dar es Salaam Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative for your transfer (5-minutes) to the domestic airport for your flight by light aircraft to the Mbuyu Airstrip (approximately 45 minutes) in the Selous Game Reserve. Meet and greet by your safari team on arrival with your first game drive en-route to the camp. Enjoy an afternoon activity. Overnight at Roho ya Selous (tent) with dinner, breakfast & a selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks included. ***Check with us as Kenya Airways also offer flights from Cape Town via Nairobi to Tanzania. DAY 2 - 4: Selous Game Reserve

We enjoy three full days in the reserve with morning and afternoon activities and discover the secrets which lie in the waters of the lakes with boat safaris, explore the bush with a walking safari and enjoy

The rivers and lakes of the Selous are the lifeblood of a park that boasts a variety of biomes, some fabulous game, including elephant, wild dog, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and lion and over 440 species of bird. DAY 5: Selous Game Reserve / Dar es Salaam / Johannesburg Intercamp Flight

Enjoy morning activities before your transfer to the airstrip for your flight by light aircraft to Dar es Salaam domestic airport.
