Our first meeng will be early next term and we will need people to take on co-ordinaon roles. Entertainment – Stage Booking acts for the main stage and grass arena. Entertainment – Rides Booking rides, animal farm, and show bags. Catering Overseeing the ordering and distribuon of the food. Stalls Coordinang the stall holders. Site Manager Looking aſter the running of the fair on the day including carpark. Publicity In control of leng people know about the fair. Aucon Gathering prizes for main aucon, silent aucon and spinning wheel. Signage The placing of signs around the area. Manager Overall co-ordinaon of the fair. Sponsorship Gaining financial sponsorship for the fair. If you are new to the school, this is a great opportuni- ty to get on board and be involved in organising a premier event in the area. ————————————————————————————— Lost Property Reminder Reminder to check lost property. We have a collec- tion of purses, TOYS, LUNCHBOXES, sun- glasses and other personal items as well as a mountain of unclaimed uni- forms. unclaimed items will be donated to char- ity or thrown out at the end of term. While I am away next term Ms Toni Sco will be taking over from me. She came out to the school yesterday to have a look at the school and to do a handover. Please make yourself known to Toni and I hope she has an enjoyable term at Wallington. End of term arrangements The students will be dismissed at 2:30 pm 1.30 pm Lunch 2.00pm Bell to come inside 2.10pm Assembly 2.30 pm Dismissal Parents are asked to ensure that arrangements are made to have the students picked up at 2:30 pm. Sushi Change of Day Sushi can be ordered in week one next term. However the Sushi day is now Thursday. Please remember that orders need to be in no later than 12:00 on the Wednesday. Extra-Curricular Acvies Sporng Schools Monday 18 th July – Sporng Schools Program (formerly Acve Aſter School Sports) will commence. Lincoln and Cam will be taking this program. Basketball will be the focus. The program is open to everyone and starts each Monday, for 7 weeks, from 3:45 – 4.30 pm. People will need to enrol in this next term. Forms are at the office. Curriculum Day Last Thursday, teachers spent the day discussing Wring. The day incorporated learning about the 6 + 1 Wring Traits. This is a framework that teachers can use to assist with planning and ensur- ing that the points of learning needs are beer idenfied. The day concluded with the teachers preparing the frame work for each level and including the ‘I Can Statements’. The next curriculum day will be on Monday 22 nd August. Friday 26th August will be the evening students

Saturday 27th August we are having a

family portrait day with local photographer Mary

Thompson.

Cost will be $15 and includes a 20 minute sitting

and a 8x12 print.

There will then be the option to purchase further

images if you wish at reasonable prices.
