Market Outlook and Business Situation The production utilization rate reached 90% in Q2 2020. The newly established

Kaohsiung factory is expected to expand 10% of the total MLCC production capacity in 2H 2020. (Hi-Capacitance, Hi-Frequency, and automotive grade MLCC)

Automotive demands are gradually recovering and will continue to do so

5G base station, smartphone, remote working/learning PC & NB, server, gaming, and TV shall drive the growth of 2H 2020.

From 2021 onwards, 5G infrastructure deployment, cloud server, HPC, IoT, auto-pilot, AI, Olympics economy, and post-Covid 19 revenge spending are anticipated to fuel the growth.

While demand continue to grow progressively, the overall component supply is still restricted due to limited qualified vendors, their expansion capability and the equipment supply. The component shortage may occur occasionally.

Driven by green energy and smart device development, though there are short term uncertainty due to US-China tech cold war and 2020 US presidential election, the long term prospect of electronic industry remain promising.
