Warm-UpA proper warm-up should take about 10-15 minutes in order to increase your body temperature and circulate blood throughout the body. The benefits of a warm-up include improved motion and flexibility, which can reduce the chance of musculoskeletal injury.
This is important even in hot temperatures!
Your warm-up should include dynamic exercises targeting all the muscle groups. Dynamic exercises are big, controlled movements through a range of motion.
