Class Awards 2017 Term 4 Week 4

Warnervale BumpItUp / High Expectations

With the success of our 2016/17 BumpItUp strategy, we are continuing to support the learning of our current Year 2 and 4 students. Our initiative focuses on the Reading and Numeracy curriculum areas and involves a variety of individual, group and class structures. Our results have proven our implementation strategies are successful in catering for the diverse range of learners.

We would like to invite our current 2017 Year 2 and 4 parents to join us in the Library for an information session outlining our directions to support your child both this year and next in their learning journey and NAPLAN preparation. Any interested parents from any other years are welcome to join us.

Gardening Club Report

Last week in Gardening Club, Year 5 students harvested nectarines and all student volunteers were invited to enjoy a spinach, feta and tomato slice in a cooking class on Friday. It was very exciting to harvest leek and spinach from the school vegetable plot and use fresh eggs from our hens!
