The agreement will be funded from the2015-16 Budget of Undistributed Expenses and have a term of one year. The Depart ment of Neighborhood and Business Development has four primary goals for this study: 1. Evaluate the Citys nuisance point system in order to provide guidance on future policy related to ensuring equitable and effective enforcement involving public nuisances; and 2. Identify national best practices in addressing public nuisances. This includes identifying best practices for effectuating summary clos ure of nuisance bars and nightclubs; and Provide an analysis and comparison of processes used in other cities in Ne w York State.
