InstallationThe most economical method forinstalling architectural pavers issand setting. It also allows foreasy replacement, repair and ad-justment. Sand-set installationcan be used where soils are welldrained and settling is not ex-pected. Proper compaction of thesetting bed and the gravel sub-bed is mandatory. For stability,the sand bed should be nothicker than one inch. Jointsshould be 1/16” to 1/8”, and filledwith swept sand. Perimeter re-straint is recommended. Bitumi-nous installation is indicatedwhere greater stability is required.
