THE SICK & SHUT-IN MINISTRY & CIVIC ASSOCIATION will make Easter visits to our members, who are living in nursing and assisted facilities, on Good Friday, April 19th, leaving the church at 10 a.m.  We will be delivering Easter Baskets. HEALTH CORNERLast year I had the good fortune to attend a very important conference on The topic of Alzheimer’s. Some call it Dementia and some call it Oldtimers Disease. Most important, it was excellent. It will be held this year on Thursday May 9, at Sinclair Community College from 8:00am until 4:30pm. If you are worried about someone close to you this is an opportunity to get all types of information. There is a cost for this Symposium of $99.00. Early Registration or $119.00 per person through May 3. The special STUDENT rate is $49.00. There are 8 breakout sessions included. CHURCH VAN PROCEDURES: Van use request forms must be submitted two weeks prior to the date of the event. A minimum of seven people are required in order to use the van/bus and the van can only be used for Wayman Chapel purposes. Donations for use are accepted.
