2 Adjudicators
2.1WDSF World Open
A minimum of 9 adjudicators from at least 8 WDSF member countriesnominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF. The number of
adjudicators can be moved to 11 adjudicators from at least 9 WDSFmember countries, to 13 adjudicators from at least 11 WDSF membercountries.
2.2WDSF International Open
A minimum of 7 adjudicators from at least 6 WDSF member countriesnominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF. The number ofadjudicators can be moved to 9 adjudicators from at least 6 WDSFmember countries, to 11 adjudicators from at least 8 WDSF membercountries or to 13 adjudicators from at least 10 WDSF member
countries.2.3WDSF Open
A minimum of 5 adjudicators from at least 4 WDSF member countriesnominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF. The number ofadjudicators can be moved to 7 adjudicators from at least 5 WDSFmember countries, 9 adjudicators from at least 6 WDSF membercountries, 11 adjudicators from at least 7 WDSF member countries or13 adjudicators from at least 8 WDSF member countries.

3 Chairman
3.1WDSF World OpenNominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF.
3.2WDSF International Open
Nominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF.
3.3WDSF Open
Nominated by the organizer and confirmed by WDSF.
3.4Duties
The chairman is responsible for the observance of the WDSF-Rulesand the Management of WDSF World Ranking Tournaments. He hasto report about the competitions to the WDSF Sports Directorfollowing the guidelines of the WDSF Operating Policy Duties andObligations of WDSF Chairmen and WDSF Operating Policy ChairmanReport Checklist.
4 Number and nationalities of couples
4.1WDSF World Open
At least 48 couples from 10 WDSF member bodies.If the minimum requirements of number and nationalities of couplesfor WDSF World Open Competitions are not fulfilled during oneCompetition Year, the WDSF Member Body cant apply for WDSFWorld Open Competitions for a period of 3 years. Already grantedWorld Open Competitions are downgraded to WDSF InternationalOpen Competitions.
WDSF Member Bodies can apply for a maximum of 2 WDSF WorldOpen per year and discipline, with the following conditions:
1. Havingorganized 4 WDSF International Open per year and discipline.The WDSF Sports Commission can give exemptions to theseconditions.
2. Provide thefinalists with at least EUR 3300 (1st800, 2nd700, 3rd600, 4th500, 5th400, 6th300, if more than 6 couples are in the final duea tie those couples get EUR 300 each)

4.2WDSF International Open
At least of 36 couples from 8 WDSF member bodies.If the minimum requirements of number and nationalities of couplesfor WDSF International Open events are not fulfilled during oneCompetition Year, the WDSF Member Body is only allowed to organize2 WDSF International Open for the next year.
4.3WDSF Open
At least 24 couples from 4 WDSF member bodies.
4.4Reduction
If the minimum requirements are not fulfilled there is a reduction ofranking points.
5 WDSF World Ranking Points
WDSF World Ranking Points are given to the participating couples inthe following WDSF Competitions as follows:
5.1WDSF Grand Slam
Ranking points to all couples according to the WDSF Ranking Pointsschedule.
5.2WDSF World Open
Ranking points to all couples according to the WDSF Ranking Pointsschedule.
5.3WDSF International Open
Ranking points to all couples according to the WDSF Ranking Pointsschedule.
5.4WDSF Open
Ranking points to all couples according to the WDSF Ranking Pointsschedule.

6 WDSF Ranking Points Schedule
The points in the schedule for WDSF Grand Slam, WDSF World Open,WDSF International Open and WDSF Open are basis points. Thepoints get an addition or reduction according enclosed list. Thecalculation will be made by the WDSF Sports Director.
Conditions for an addition or reduction of the basis points:
Less than 12 couples participating in the competition -20 %
Less than 24 couples participating in the competition -10 %
36 to 47 couples participating in the competition +10 %
48 to 95 couples participating in the competition +25 %96 to 143 couples participating in the competition +30 %
144 to 191 couples participating in the competition +35 %
192 to 287 couples participating in the competition +40 %
288 and more couples participating in the competition +50 %
Couples from 10 to 12 different WDSF members +10 %
Couples from 13 to 17 different WDSF members +25 %
Couples from 18 to 25 different WDSF members +40 %
Couples from more than 25 different WDSF members +50 %
7 adjudicators from 7 WDSF members +10 %
9 adjudicators from 8 WDSF members +10 %
9 adjudicators from 9 WDSF members +15 %
11 adjudicators from 10 WDSF members +15 %

7 Applications for WDSF World Ranking
TournamentsApplications for WDSF World Ranking Tournaments must besubmitted to the WDSF Sports Director 6 month in advance.
8 Number of Competitions for the WDSF WorldRanking List (WRL)
The rank of a couple in the WRL is determined by the sum of the 6best WDSF World Ranking Tournament results during the past 12month. For couples in the Youth age group it is the sum of the 4 bestWDSF World Ranking Tournament results during the past 12 month.
The basis to give exemptions (star rule) in WDSF World RankingTournaments is always the status of the WRL from the first day of themonth before the competition.
9 Exceptions
For competitions outside of Europe the WDSF can make specialexceptions from these regulations.
