TOP COMMITMENT

Responsibility and Contributions to Society

For an automobile-related enterprise, environmentalmeasures on a global scale are an important issue. Allalong, we have engaged in environmental measuresglobally, in such ways as developing technology for super-lightweight speakers and other items that contribute tolighter vehicle weight and greater resource saving, andswitching to LED lighting for our business places.Last year, FUJITSU TEN PHILIPPINES received anaward for its environmental activities from the PhilippineEconomic Zone Agency. This was one of severalexpressions of how highly rated these activities are in thecompany's locality. In the future, toward issue resolution of global warming, biodiversity problems and so forth, we aim to reduce ourown environmental loads in line with our Mid- and Long-Term Environmental Vision, besides which we willcontribute to "building a car society that is friendly to bothhumans and the environment" through development ofenvironmentally contributing products such as controlunits for hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.

Work Values

"A company is its people." What turns its vision into realityis - naturally - its human resources. We think that puttingdiversity to active use and making it lead to heightenedworkplace capability and enhanced personal growth andjob satisfaction is the key to sustained growth. Also, awareness, morals and conscience-based conduct mustbe heightened, as these are basic capabilities for one tohave as a person.FUJITSU TEN will engage in developing people who thinkfor and by themselves, come up with their own answer toa "What to do?" issue and take responsible action for it,and in building up its company culture.

We will be soundly handing on the philosophy of"Sincerity (makoto)" so carefully preserved by ourpredecessors, and working to bring about asustainable society through contributions to customersand the community centered on "makoto".We also wish, by achieving active communication withall our stakeholders, to be a company that growstogether with them. I hope that this report will promptyour interest in our activities; please let us have yourunreserved opinions concerning it.

Cars are now undergoing ICT-ization with increasingspeed. Their systemization and modularization isadvancing to higher levels of sophistication, and they haveevolved into systems that include software servicesconnected to the cloud.Amid this great tidal flow, we are making use of ourcompany's strengths to tackle the three areas of "comfort-convenience", "reassurance-safety" and "environment",centered on "vehicle ICT" with information andcommunications technology at the core. While collaborating with fields encompassing a wide range- particularly in FUJITSU Group - we will be aiming tospeedily materialize our vision to be "a company that istrusted by its customers and partners through its cardevelopment" and "a leading company for vehicle ICT".

The environment surrounding us is changing hectically, but even amid such circumstances there is something thatwe feel we "must not change" and "want to preserve".That thing is our company maxim - "Sincerity (makoto) iswhat God wishes". This is because the spirit of makoto isthe wellspring of our CSR activities and, we feel, thereason why we have continuously grown right up to today. With the spirit of makoto and our corporate philosophiesof "Customer Focus, Highest Possible Quality","Responsibility and Contributions to Society" and "WorkValues" as basis, we will be moving ahead actively withendeavors of a variety of different kinds.

President & Representative DirectorFUJITSU TEN LTD.
