YBD is a store and it’s more. It’s where our most promising young designers can strut their astonishing stuff.

Not until youngbritishdesigners.com launched in 2010 was there a single platform that represented talent based in the UK. With our country bursting at the seams with

brilliant designers, it’s hard to believe no one had thought to bring them together before.

We now have over sixty of them in our stable. Some you will have heard of. Some, maybe not. They have all broken rules and risked everything in pursuit of their

dreams. They share a desire to create singular brands that may not appeal to all people, but resonate deeply with those that they do.

WE FOUND THEM FIRST SO YOU CAN WEAR THEM FIRST.

FOUNDED IN 2010 YBD HAS A FIERCE REPUTATION FOR DISCOVERING AND SHOWCASING WHITE HOT DESIGN TALENT. OUR ALUMNI INCLUDE:

We knew Eudon Choi was one to watch when we

bought his first collection in the early days of YBD.

Eudon’s understated, modern designs have earned

him many awards and in 2011, Anna Wintour and

Franca Sozzani invited him to present a collection

at Milan Fashion Week.

We fell in love with Dear Frances’s approach to

texture and colour back in 2015. Founder Jane

Frances continues to present beautifully distinctive

footwear, using traditional techniques. Her collections

invariably find their way into the pages of Vogue

and Elle.

Artist Simeon Farrar was one of YBD’s first designers.

His eponymous label and his Black Score brand are

today celebrated for their exciting, contemporary

pieces. Farrar recently collaborated with Topshop

and the Wild at Heart Foundation on successful

charity collections.

D E A R F R A N C E S

J.W. Anderson’s first women’s capsule collection

appeared on the newly-launched YBD website in

2010. The success of this collection earned Anderson

much acclaim, and he is now regarded as one of the

UK’s most forward-thinking designers.

YBD’s AW13 collection introduced Lily Kamper as

a unique jewellery designer with a love of coaxing

contemporary designs from unusual material

combinations. Lily has since been awarded a place

on the British Fashion Council prestigious Rock Vault.
