7th Step Club Meeting Update

October 2, 2019 Hey Everyone, Our last meeting was a real treat with Tracy and Dan from Folsom50 giving our members a sneak peek at their performance at the Johnny Cash Heritage Foundation later this year. As most of you know this was part of a multiple prison tour highlighting Cash's song list from the Folsom prison tour. This follow presentation highlights the experiences of the band and Tracy as they met hundreds of prisoners! The ability for men to gather and hear good music is a luxury behind prison walls. A concert in prison of any type helps us "feel" normal. It's always great to hear guys singing along or just tapping their foot. Music builds community. So we wish them the very best and look forward to hearing more in the future. October 24th will be our last business meeting of the year, followed by our Christmas party, December 18th. During our October meeting we are planning with our outside supporters and volunteers some of our scheduled events for 2020. We simply can't do it without great supporters of our club, many of them have been dedicated for decades.
