Let us pray, brothers and sisters, for the church throughout the world . . . for our bishop, for our church leaders, and for all the people of God . . . for those who share our faith in Jesus Christ . . . for the Jewish people, the first to hear the word of God . . . for those of other faiths . . . for those who have no faith . . . for God’s creation . . . for those who serve in public office and for the common good . . . for those in need . . . and, finally, let us pray for all those things for which our Lord would have us ask . . .

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
