Weekly ArticleGod often uses trials to accomplish His will in the life of people. Since the fall of man there has not been a perfect world. We live in a world that is marred by sin and sickness and yet God still uses the bad in this world to bring forth good. Just take a quick survey of the history book of the World which is the Bible. Notice that through the pain of childbirth a precious child is born named Cain. This process still repeats itself over and over again in what we call procreation, ask almost any woman and they will tell you their war story of childbirth. Look at the famine that drove Jacob and His children to Egypt for provision; and then hundreds of years later God would deliver them from the bondage that formed there through the Passover angel. Watch David rise to his anointed position through the battle against the Giant Goliath. Now move ahead and watch Jesus as He struggles to carry His cross up Calvary to die for our sins. Three days later death was defeated and the sin debt was paid for all who would accept Christ. What looked like defeat and the end turned out to be the beginning for the Church of Jesus Christ. I share this so that you can look at what is going on and know that God has a plan. We cannot see all that God is going to do through this pandemic; although we can look backwards at how God has worked and know that according to His track record, good will come from this. God has a plan, and by faith we patiently wait for it. Hang in there and keep lifting the Lord up in praise.
