“POWERLIFE 2010” YOUTH CAMP (June 2010)

The camp theme is Angels, Demons, and Spiritual warfare.

Nine out of Ten youth were saved!(The tenth already saved)

On August 29th, the congregation of FBCW went out into the community to invite others to our church!

Many enjoyed spreading the Gift of the Gospel!

Youth Pastor’s Notes

We are about to take our youth program to the next level with the opening of our youth house, “The Refuge,” and I pray that this will help to turn the youth of Windsor upside down. We have a huge task ahead of us but I know that with God's help and these youth being willing, we can see a change in our town. My prayer for this youth group, in the long run, is that we become “radical” for the Lord. I want myself and these youth to get to the point where they are desperate for God and His will. That they wake up everyday wanting to serve Him. I want to help give them the strength and courage and determination to stand for God no matter what. The school year has started and many of our youth will be hit head on with problems and hard times and even ridicule at their schools for wanting to stand for the Lord. My prayer and goal is to give them the know how to stand up and look those problems square in the face with God standing right beside them. I want to ask all the parents to help us take this youth group to the next level. You might say, “Well how can I do that?” All I ask is that you give us your support and most importantly, your prayers. I know God has big things in store for our church and community. Thanks and God bless.

Pastor’s Notes continued…

Voice of triumph. You can be free to dance, free to sing, free to shout, free to run, and free to go forward in the call of God on your life. You can be all that God has called you to be. Get a picture of that. See the vision of what God has called you to do. See through the eyes of faith. Be who God has called you to be. Stop listening to the lies of the enemy. Freedom is your portion. Sing praises unto God! Dance and rejoice for this is the day the lord has made. Remember JESUS IS LORD! Is He Lord of your life? You are an overcomer. You are in Christ. Let Jesus rule and reign in your life and in your heart. Seek his face!!!!! I want more and more of God. Here lately I have been praying for certain areas in my life and I have also been praying for God’s direction. I read this yesterday in my sermon and this morning it really stood out to me.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

So my prayer this morning and as I write this is: GOD, I WANT MORE OF YOU AND I WANT YOUR WILL FOR MY LIFE. IF THERE ARE ANY MOUNTAINS IN MY PATH OR IN YOUR WAY OF YOUR PERFECT WILL, I PRAY IN JESUS NAME TO BE THOU REMOVED!!! GOD, I AM NOT DOUBING YOUR WONDERFUL MIGHT WORKING

HAND AND I AM BELIEVING THAT MY DESIRES AND YOUR WILL IN MY LIFE WILL TAKE PLACE. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!I Want More of God! This may sound like a fairytale. It’s not. It’s reality. I w

than I ever have before but in order to have more of G

od I must do one very

important thing. I need to becom

e less of me…

which requires a lot of change!

Here is the key question I must pose to m

yself and you as you read this. Are you ready for change? Are you tired of the sam

e old same old? Seek His

face. Spend time w

ith God and in His W

ord. Be still and know He is G

od! Listen to the quiet still sm

all voice. Don’t be anxious for nothing, and let your requests be m

ade known unto God! Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

Seek his face, Be still and listen, God is speaking to your heart. Cast all your w

orries upon him. Allow

God to break those chains that have held you bound.

The yoke destroying anointing will break those chains off you. It’s tim

e for you to be free. W
