November is National Native American Heritage Month. During Social Studies,, students will: recognize Native Americans were the first inhabitants in North America (SS.2.A.2.1); compare the cultures of Native American tribes from various regions of the U.S. (SS.2.A.2.2); and describe the impact of immigrants on Native Americans (SS.2.A.2.3).

Trick-or-Reading=FUN, FUN, FUN!

The students enjoyed our reading rotations on Oct. 31. Each teacher shared a special book as the classes moved from room-to-room. In our class, I Need My Monster was read (AR 3.0). Your child can enjoy this book again and again by checking it out from our school library: the class copy will be donated to Ms. Snyder. You will also find it read aloud at http://www.storylineonline.net/

Character Counts! Recognition

Caroline is the recipient for the November CC! Pillar of Citizenship award.
