U.S. farmers lost agri. markets in postwar Europe
Farmers could not pay mortgages and lost
their farms However this caused farmers to move to cities,
work in factories and contribute to the consumer craze.

Newspapers and radios consistently updated people on the ailing economy, further scaring people from spending their money
This then caused the economy to decline further, leading to more problems
