The task for you the students, is to gain knowledge about the nine

elements of Digital Citizenship. The goal is for you to be able to know the difference between the elements and to be able to

correctly define them.

First, I will be dividing the class into three separate groups. Each group will be provided with three different themes of digital citizenship and specific links to

research their topics. During your research you should define the terms, provide examples of how they relate to your lives, and explain why your three themes are important to digital citizenship. You will be given two entire class periods to work on this assignment. The following Monday your groups will present your finished assignment. The presentation could either be a poster,

powerpoint, or a hand out.

EXAMPLE1. First, you will be broken up into group,each group will get three different

themes of digital citizenship. 2. Choose the the links you think are most useful to your themes and begin

research.3. You will then present your assignment to the class with the rest of your

group.
