Welcome to Children’s Week 2016I am delighted to Celebrate Children’s Week 2016, together with all children, their families and friends.

Children’s Week 2016 is a National Annual Festival to be celebrated from Friday 21st October to Sunday 30th October with this year’s theme being Article 17 from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

“Children have the right to reliable information from the media. Mass media such as television, radio and newspapers should provide information that children can understand and should not promote materials that harm children.”

I send my best wishes to everyone involved in Children’s Week, and hope that both young and old enjoy the celebrations.

Ethnic Schools Children’s Week 2020 e-Concert A series of concert performances by ethnic school students highlighting their cultural backgrounds. These short performances will be released daily during Children’s Week as pre-recorded clips. Children’s Week 2020 is a National Annual Festival to be celebrated from Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November with this year’s theme Article 15 from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

'Children have the right to meet with other children and young people and to join groups and organisations as long as this does not stop other people from enjoying their rights.'
