Term 3 commences Tuesday, 24th July
for all classes.
Parent / Teacher Interviews Thank you to all parents who have attended, and will be attending their child’s half yearly assessment interview this week. It is crucial to your child’s current learning and future education that a strong partnership exists between home and school so that together we can maximise individual potential. Please also remember staff at Narrandera East are available every day to discuss your child’s progress and achievements.
Work Experience Students A very big thank you to Ella, Jade, Paige and Mykayla from Narrandera High School who spent a week supporting our staff and students through their Work Experience Programs. This week we are very pleased to welcome Jessinda who is working in Year 1 for the week.
Opal and Teloca Visit Congratulations to Mrs Beaumont and Year One for entertaining the residents from both Opal and Teloca Aged Care Centres yesterday. Your happy smiling faces and beautiful singing certainly delighted the residents and staff.
Fete Meeting A very successful fete meeting was held last night and it was lovely to hear we already have $2300 in sponsorship. Most of the stalls have captains and organisation is well under way for the event to be held on Friday 26th October.
Kindergarten 2019 Transition A reminder to students commencing Kindergarten in 2019 that our Kinder Transition Program commences on the first Thursday (26th July) after the school holiday break. The program runs every Thursday from 9.00am-1.00pm. All children need to bring their recess, a drink bottle and hat. We are looking forward to meeting our new students and their families in Term 3.
Happy Holidays A very big thank you to all staff, parents and students for a very successful and productive Term 2. Have a lovely and safe holiday break with school resuming for students on Tuesday 24th July.
