Clinton’s usage of Reward in our country.
Budget surpluses by giving our country a boost in jobs, health care, and
education.Cutting taxes for low-income families, made it better for smaller businesses as
well.
Bill Clinton rewards country.
Minimum wage increases.
Child support collections.
New child tax credit.Housing vouchers for
low income people.
Providing Rewards.
“Everybody counts, everybody deserves a chance, everybody has a responsible role to play and we all do
better when we work together.” Bill Clinton
Transportation aid. Provided funds for
childcare. Funds for education.
And training.
Rewarding another great leader.
Speaking highly on behalf of President Obama is going to later reward voters
to get close to or the same values when he was in office.
This reward will push the president to do better for his country and for his-
self.
Was reward power used effectively by President Clinton?
I believe he has used the reward
system to better our country.
If people rely too much on rewards, it
can backfire.

President Clinton used his legal rights as President to make changes that do not require congressional approval.
Was the legitimate power used effectively by President Clinton?
(Martin, 2011)
• A democrat President Clinton, served with a republican controlled House of Representatives for the entirety of his second term; and the senate was controlled by the republicans in late 1990s twice.
• Legitimate power does not work effectively; especially in politics, unless it is enhanced with compromise and cooperation; the 42nd President understood that.
President Clinton’s way of leading by inspiring
• President Clinton worked across the aisle for the common good. One of the reasons that leads to this fact is his way of inspiring and convincing others to the ideas that he stood for as President and his ability to compromise when it is needed.
• “In serving, we recognize a simple but powerful truth—we need each other.” (Fox news, 2009.) As his first inaugural speech indicates; as a recognized leader, he did not serve alone, but he served alongside others; even with those he disagreed with politically
(ProCon, 2010)
Does leadership ends when power ends?
• President Clinton left office in 2001. That being said, he never stopped leading. He opened the Clinton Global Initiative and he is still the biggest advocate for Initiatives that he stood for as President.
(Alliance Institute, 2010)
Conclusion
President Clinton used legitimate power effectively. He led the country by using his legal powers when he did not need the approval of the congress, cooperating with people in the other side of the aisle and inspiring citizens to work for the common good.
