SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM At this time, our plans to hold a Summer Bridge Program are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Sum-mer Bridge Program is an excellent model of on campus instruction and enrichment activities for those students entering Grades K-5. We do not feel a Distance Learning model would work. Thank you for your understanding.

BOOKS AND ELECTRONICS DROP OFF/PICK UP GRADES TK-8

MONDAY JUNE 1ST 9:00-10:30 AM

OR TUESDAY, JUNE 2ND

• We will be conducting a drive thru Drop-Off and Pick-Up on the dates above for Grades TK-8.

• We ask that you place any school textbooks, iPads, chargers or any other school property in a brown pa-per bag with the child’s name, to be dropped off when you drive thru.

• At this time we will also be handing you a bag with any materials you might have left in your classroom, sports trophies and summer packets.

• We ask that all passengers remain in your vehicles. No one will be allowed to walk on campus. It is strictly a drive thru.

The gates will close promptly at 10:30.

The Faculty & Staff would like to thank the families that decorated the front of the Social Center last week. What a colorful surprise as we entered the cam-pus for our In-Service Day.

CLASS OF 2020 8TH GRADE ACTIVITIES

May 19th Yard Signs and Goodie Bags were delivered to each Graduates home. Attached are pictures of some graduates with their sign. May 28th 5:00 pm Live Steam of our time-honored tradition of “This Is A Person…” May 29th 5:30 pm Live Stream of Commencement Ceremony. This will include Diploma Recognition, the Religious Excellence Award, the Paul Comouche Award, and the Parent Service Organization Award, as well as all academic awards that would have otherwise been presented at the graduation dinner.

FIRST COMMUNICANTS

Our First Communion Mass has been postponed due to the COVID-19 Virus. However, we would like to recog-nize our 2nd Grade students that have been preparing for the Sacrament. We encourage all 2nd Grade Students to Live Stream the 12:15 Mass on Thursday, May 28th. Father Paul will recognize you and bless you as you con-tinue to prepare for the day you will receive the Eucharist for the first time. You may also buy out of the obligation. Your buy out amount is the SCRIP balance due on your report. All obli-gations must be met by May 31st.

Do you like to listen to music and dance?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, then this is the contest for you. Let’s not forego our annual Talent Show, in it’s place let’s have a Family Dance Off Con-test.

Get your family together and choreograph a dance to your favorite song. Submit your video to annettee@ssfp.org We will compile all your clips and have a Dance-Off Vid-eo of our talented SSFP Families. See if your family will win the first SSFP Dance-Off and the mirror ball trophy!!

RITE OF PASSAGE AT DAILY MASS

On Wednesday, May 27th we would have celebrated the Rite of Passage Mass as a school community. On that day, at the daily 12:15 Mass that is Live Streamed from our website, Father Paul will be blessing the medals the 7th Grade students will receive and recognizing the 7th Grade students as they take over the leadership of the school. Please join Father Paul next Wednesday at the 12:15 Mass.
