Week 28: Monday 20 th April Theme: Working Rights A.Positives From Last Week Useful meeting last Monday with Tim Robertson and Sandy Cameron from Cumbria CC. A good week for SL and the GCSE Drama group – positive visit to the Theatre on the Lake in Keswick on Tuesday and then a positive moderation session on Wednesday. GCSE French trip now well underway. PCu reports safe arrival and a good first full day. They return on Tuesday evening. JB now firmly back. Good to have her working alongside PB. Gives our GCSE groups in Science a chance to work in smaller groups ahead of the exams. Good to get the school visits training done. Healthy interest in our Deputy Head vacancy. Two visitors last week and several people have already booked up for a look round this week. Hopefully it will translate into a good bunch of applications. Hopefully the AMF have the information they need to finally make their decision on extending the Federation on 30 th April. IPJ, VM, JW and GA all meeting with the AMF governors tonight to answer final questions. B.
