The objective of the webinar was to share updates and the future strategy for each business unit to succeed in a post Covid world. The leaders also spoke on the new brand positioning of their businesses, reasons for the same and the skills necessary for professionals to succeed in the new post Covid economy. Mr Praveen Pai, COO, EPC Solutions Business began the session and provided an update on his business followed by Mr Hardip Singh, COO- Solar Modules & Products Business and Mr Gagan Chanana, COO – Distributed Energy & Defence Business. The webinar was moderated by Ms Taniya Nandi, EVP – HR & Admin. Each business leader spoke on the challenges and the opportunities that the new economic environment will present in a post Covid world. All three agreed that although the business environment will be challenging in the near future, the fundamentals of Jakson's businesses remained strong and the organization will tide over this short term crisis and emerge victorious in the long term. The sessions were followed by an interactive Q&A session wherein employees posed several questions. All three leaders answered these queries and broadly outlined the key elements that will help Jakson achieve a competitive edge in the new economy. Mr Praveen Pai, COO, EPC Solutions Business began the session and provided an update on his business followed

by Mr Hardip Singh, COO- Solar Modules & Products Business and Mr Gagan Chanana, COO – Distributed Energy &

Defence Business. The webinar was moderated by Ms Taniya Nandi, EVP – HR & Admin.

Each business leader spoke on the challenges and the opportunities that the new economic environment will

The CSR team organized food donation drives across several locations in India last week to provide essential food items to people from marginalized communities facing hardships due to the Covid lockdown.

Food donation drives were organized for communities residing near Jakson's three solar IPP plants in Lalitpur, Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh and Bap in Rajasthan. The donation activity was conducted with support from the solar O&M team. In addition, a food donation drive was organized in Gurgaon for daily wage earners in partnership with Niveda Foundation.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL TRAINING ON SOLAR ROOFTOP

The HR team initiated a Cross Functional Training

Session on Solar Rooftop Power Plants for Distributed

Energy Business which was attended by several team

members. The training was conducted by subject

matter experts from the Solar BU, covering the

following topics:

Ÿ Solar Rooftop Offerings

Ÿ Site Survey

Ÿ Plant Design

Ÿ Quotation & Negotiation

Ÿ Project Execution & Commissioning

The objective of the training program was to impart in-

depth technical, commercial and industry knowledge

to the DG sales team members and enable them to

offer solar rooftop solutions to existing DG customers

as well as new clients.

SOLAR ROOFTOP O&M TEAM PROVIDES SUPPORT TO CUSTOMERS

The Solar Rooftop O&M team has been extending

customer support and O&M services effectively during

the lockdown period. All O&M activities are been

carried out according to planned schedules. Our

service engineers have been able to resolve minor

complaints through telephonic calls and also visited

various customer sites to attend complaints, wherever

necessary. Naveen Sagar from the team attended a

string monitoring issue at 300 KW rooftop plant at

ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad last week

JEPL TEAM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ESSENTIAL SERVICES

HOSPITALITY TEAM ENSURES SAFETY OF ITS EMPLOYEES WITH DETAILED SOPS

The Hospitality Team has developed a set of detailed guidelines & Standard

Operating Procedures (SOPs) for its staff to ensure their health and safety as it

prepares to open its facilities to welcome guests post the lockdown. The detailed

SOP for employees that has been circulated to all circulated and being followed

at the hotel is mentioned below

Arriving at the Hotel in the morning for Work

Ÿ Bathe before leaving home, wear a mask & gloves while heading out.

Ÿ Carry a small hand sanitizer & keep sanitizing your hands after touching any

surface like car doors, seats handle and gates if any.

Ÿ Reach hotel 30 minutes prior to start of the shift.

Ÿ Maintain adequate distance while availing transport to hotel

Ÿ After reaching the hotel gate, stand in a queue with adequate social distance

(as per the markings)

Ÿ Get your temperature checked. Security will sign in your name

Ÿ On Reaching Locker's, wash your hands with soap. Take bath if not taken at

home.

Ÿ Wear fresh and clean uniform, wear mask and gloves before starting work in

your department.

Ÿ Only 3 people will be allowed in the lockers at a time

Ÿ Maintain adequate distance and follow social distancing all the time while on

duty.

Ÿ The cafeteria has been arranged keeping the norms of social distancing.

Please do not move the chairs.

Ÿ Carry your own water bottle as no water glasses will be made available

Ÿ Maintain adequate social distance from colleagues & guests at all times

Leaving the Hotel after Days Work

Ÿ Call up your home before you start from the hotel

Ÿ Someone at home should keep the front door open (so that you don't have to

touch the bell or door handle) and a bucket of water with washing soap to

wash your hands before entering.

Ÿ Keep things (car keys, pen, sanitizer bottle , phone) in a box outside the door.

Ÿ Wash your hands and stand in water for few minutes. Meanwhile use tissue

and sanitizer and wipe the items you have placed in the box.

Ÿ Wash your hands again with soap and water.

Ÿ Enter the house without touching anything.

Ÿ The bathroom door is kept open by someone and bucket of detergent soap is

ready. You take off all your clothes including inner wear and soak in the bucket.

Ÿ Then take a head bath using soap and shampoo.

Ÿ Wash your clothes in warm water and dry cloths in direct sunlight.
