We have taken steps to reduce the impact of the spread of COVID-19 by cancelling any non-essential operations at school such as assemblies, socials, sporting events, Easter Hat Parade and so forth. It is regrettable that we have had to do this but Im sure youll agree that your children and the staffs health takes precedence over these programs. Please contact the front office if you wish to discuss this matter further. Ill keep everyone in the loop via newsletter and school phone app of any new developments. Absences As stated in the information fact sheet, if students complain of feeling unwell and suffering from headaches, sore throats and general poor health please keep them at home until the symptoms are resolved. The directive we were issued outlines that if students complain of feeling unwell at school then they are to be sent home. Tell Them From Me All students at school in Years 4 – 6 will be completing the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) survey over the coming weeks which aims to gather data on school engagement, the direction the school is heading in and student general wellbeing and happiness at school. It is an external online data collection source that we will hopefully use later in the year to collect data from our school community as well. School Photos Please be aware that at this point school photos will still go ahead on Thursday as planned and we will simply put in place steps to minimise contact and possible spread of any infection. COVID-19 I trust everyone received and read the information contained in the flyer that went home yesterday. The school was full of policemen, doctors, sportsmen & women, workmen & lady tradies & cowboys. Even an artist, magician & a pilot for the SRC’s fundraiser day on Thursday. They raised $158.00. Well done!

Our students had a great time at the live performance at the

Regional Theatre. It was a very funny show featuring a deserted

desert island & a giant spider. The children thought the best bit was when they got to decide if the big

red button would be pushed to blow up the world.
